I didn’t see myself as “online business material.”
I wasn’t techy. I wasn’t loud. I wasn’t chasing trends or dancing on camera.
I was just a regular parent trying to make life work without sacrificing more time, more energy, more moments that mattered.
Every time someone talked about building an online business, I assumed they meant other people—confident people, polished people, people who already had it figured out.
What I didn’t realize then was that my hesitation wasn’t a lack of ability—it was a lack of permission.
Permission to believe that lived experience counts. That problem-solving counts. That showing up imperfectly still creates impact.
The truth is, online business isn’t about fitting a mold. It’s about sharing what you know, what you’ve survived, and what you’ve learned along the way.
Once I stopped trying to look like everyone else and started building from who I already was, everything shifted.
